Kaapsehoop is a characteristic small town near Nelspruit. It is most definitely worth a visit! Kaapsehoop was founded in 1882 with the discovery of gold in the surrounding rivers. Today the gold has been replaced by “green gold”: the untouched nature is home to numerous species, who all live in absolute freedom. Kaapsehoop is known for its gorgeous unique birds and of course for the wild horses that roam the countryside surrounding the city. You can also enjoy several outdoor activities.
